Tired… Unhappy…

I feel tt i'm nt doin anything correctly or logically… Really veri sick my job training… Tink it'll b better tt i end it now… I muz admit the wat i learnt from all the training was kinda interesting… Learnt some new skills in dealin wif computers… Backing-up datas, how large companies actually deal wif their massive computer systems for upgrading, security and user control… How companies actually outsourced all their jobs…

After these 2days of crap, i feel tt professionalism at work is a very very impt thing… It gives u the confidence to handle different situations, it lets ppl haf trust in u and u build up ur reputation from there… A major project like changin the OS of all the computers in the company involves a lot of ppl from plannin the project to executing it… How it's being planned really affect the whole flow of the project and how efficient is the project… In addition, experience in these project is really a need for all those ppl plannin… Basically, i feel tt the whole project is kinda f***ed up… Come to tink of it… Actually everything is like back in NS… The top doesn't c wat's happening at the bottom and dun bother abt tt as long as the ppl in the middle gets the job done regardless of whether it's the correct way or nt… And bottomline… Everyone earns or gets the stuffs tt nid to b done… Win-win situation… Pragmatism..

After all these, i kinda feel tt sometimes it's hard to believe wat u c or wat u hear… Things mite sounds attractive… but there's too much stuffs tt's being concealed until the time u r involved in tt particular situation… Sometimes u really nid to do all ur "homework" well.. Noe wat to ask and tink carefully b4 u make a decision… Dun regret it at the end of the day…

Guess tt it's really no pt for mi to torture myself further wif some job tt i haf too many stuffs to complain abt… Meaningless… Live life to the fullest and imptly b HAPPY!!!

Really Bad Bad Day… Shagged

Went to receive training for my new job intro by RP… Felt tt i really haf a really really bad day… Slept quite late last nite… So i was kinda tired throughout the training… The whole training can b summarised as "zuo bo"… Crap sia…

1) Spent the whole morning and afternoon goin thru theories and more theories without any hands on or demo… Finished our clearance after our lunch (by right we should finish it when we first entered, we r kinda a form of "security breach" since we entered the place wif no clearance)

2) Wasted a lot of time.. Tokin cock… Gettin ourselves more confused abt the job wif a "great" upperstudy who practically dunno how to teach properly… Taught us all the bits and pieces and nt a step by step way of handling the job…

3) Onli started to c the whole picture when all the deployments came at ard 4-5pm… Den u suddenly c the whole workplace turned from a dead town wif the 3 "xin jiaos" to a great flood wif all the engineers workin…

4) 0 security for the job… Onli gone thru verbal agreement for all the pay and stuffs… No black and white.. Onli commitment from us and nt from the company… Anything cork up, by rite is onli our fault cos we r onli verbally known as "contract staff" for tis particular company… We dun haf direct connection wif the company…

5) Hidden costs were nt mention when we were intro to the job… Transportation to all the different branches, ownself cover and equipments nid to buy our own one… And it's nt cheap… (special screwdrivers for desktops and laptops, HDD, thumbdrives…)

6) No deployment == "zuo bo" like our upperstudy… 30bucks per pc… 1 pc takes abt 3-4hrs to process… if add wif ur "zuo bo" working hours… Maybe worse than a 6/hr job outside…

7) Specific working hours??? Crap… U r more of standby mode… Got pc for u to deploy, u'll haf to b there to process the pc… So no exact working hours…

8) Din actually haf an actual training regime… All impromptu… Some of their workers even assume tt we got the technical backgrd and expect us to work by the 3rd day… And they were stunt when we told them we dun haf any backgrd.. =x

9) Most of the staffs were friendly… But some looked like "timebombs"… Will explode at anytime… Jus hope tt u wun b the one igniting the bomb… Got one veri crap supervisor… Like army officer sia (oso kinda like "Pay And Pay")… Cos tis project is outsourced to 3 companies… Den one of the engineers from company(B) was wearin another company(A)'s neck strap for card holder… And tt supervisor belongs to tt company(A)… and he "guai lan" wif tt engineer, ask where he get tt neck strap from… Actually a previous engineeer from company(A) who left the project, left his neck strap wif the engineer (from companyB)… Tt supervisor from company(A) made a big hoo-ha wif tt stupid neck-strap… Spoke to the engineer in a veri harsh manner lor.. Crap lor… Another company's guy wearin his company's neck strap hurts him tt much izzit?… Kinda like Gomez incident sia.. =x

10) I had my dinner at 10pm.. sobs.. =x

After sayin all these, i really dun feel like workin there sia… But RP kinda persuaded mi, go for another day of trainin, raise our concerns and c how… But den i tink i'll haf commitment problem on tis job… cos nxt wk gonna b bz for mi… And it would b unfair to the company too if i'm unable to commit… (but anyway the company oso din gif mi any commitments or securities as well… y should i bother?) At least the end of my day din end so bad…
